Is Skotizo worth killing osrs? ›

The average Skotizo kill is worth 166,726.33. The average Skotizo kill while on a Konar task is worth 168,380.67.

Skotizo is a boss monster that cannot be constantly farmed as it requires you to have a dark totem for each kill. To get a dark totem, you will need to kill monsters in the catacombs and combine the 3 pieces you get.

Even so, you will still want to ensure that you are going into the fight with reasonably high stats. It's best to make sure that your combat stats are at least level 80, and that you are well equipped with what you need. This way, you should be able to take down Skotizo without too much trouble.

In order to not take any damage the player must pray Protect from Magic and stay out of melee distance from Skotizo, the three reanimated demon spawns, and the dark ankou. The dark ankou will only start following the player if the player gets too close.

If the player can afford one, a twisted bow is the most effective weapon to use, while using Protect from Magic to take no damage. A dragon warhammer or elder maul can also helpful for the fight for their special attacks, although the Arclight's can also be used for similar results.

The bosses Skotizo and K'ril Tsutsaroth also count towards greater demons for the purpose of a slayer task. Skotizo requires a dark totem in order to access, and with guaranteed clue scroll drops, this should only be done if the player wants to complete some Treasure Trails on the side.

Skotizo is a solo demi-boss which you can fight beneath the Catacombs of Kourend. In order to access Skotizo, you must sacrifice a complete Dark Totem, which you can assemble from three different totem pieces dropped by all monsters through the Catacombs.

Portal (Skotizo) allows players to leave Skotizo's lair. Upon enterting the portal, the player will get teleported back to the Catacombs of Kourend.

Like all demons, it is vulnerable to the powers of Silverlight, Darklight, and Arclight. If currently on a black or greater demon task, Skotizo is also vulnerable to the Black mask/Slayer helmet benefits.

The pet has one of the highest drop rates for a one-off pet at 1/65; this is due to the time it takes to assemble a dark totem being taken into account. When a player receives the pet, it will automatically try to appear as their follower.

In order to take the least amount of damage possible, players should use a dragonfire ward or anti-dragon shield with the dragon hunter crossbow, while praying Protect from Missiles. The dragonfire shield is an inferior option to the anti-dragon shield despite its defences, as it provides a negative Ranged bonus.

As a player raises their Strength level, they can deal more damage against opponents. A high Strength level is often favoured by players over their Attack level because it raises max hit, helping to deal more damage compared to training Attack or Defence.
